The holidays aren’t even here yet and already, a Christmas controversy is brewing in Olean, NY.

Mayor David Carucci has allowed a citizen to place a nativity scene in front of the municipal building. Some residents object, saying it offends people of other religions.

Taxpayers are calling for a committee to discuss wether religious displays have any place on public property.
